No internet at new flat, yet.

Wait of two weeks to set it up.

Absolutely! We have a new Ikea sofabed all ready for you... and if you're still considering the Modernities MA, one of my friends is just starting it, so you can ask him how it's going!

I haven't got a job yet, I only just got my timetable finalised today so I have to figure out when I can work before I can try and get one. Might go back to the old place, might try somewhere new...we'll see!

As to when, well, any weekend as far as I can tell... no plans as far as I'm concerned! x

great! feel free to tell me if my inviting myself is kindof an imposition, but a weekend in glasgow is something that i've been mulling over for three years and i don't think that it'll happen if i don't hop to it, pronto.

i know it's soon, but how about the weekend after this one? as in, me coming from the friday 26th to sunday the 28th? just looking at train times/prices and obviously it's a fair amount but i really don't mind seeing as i'll be getting free accommodation etc. - but can you recommend any deals/cheap tickets that i ought to be looking out for? this also potentially coincides with NPL but i have no idea about this, really! x

Crap crap crap O I'm so sorry I haven't checked this earlier. We're still waiting on home internet, and the internet café nearby that I use (like now) takes SO LONG to load Livejournal for some reason - and won't do Hotmail or Facebook at all - that I just don't bother mostly. I hadn't realised you could come so soon. It would have been great this weekend as well... HOWEVER there will be other equally good weekends I hope. So... please don't give up because of my tardiness. I have a new number which I will send you in a private message (just thinking that the internet is not a good place to share these things) and if you call me to arrange things that will probably work much better. So please come and see us still! I'm sorry again =(
